I fell in love with the sights and sounds of a violin some 40 years ago. That being said, it took years before I arrived at the doorstep of luthiery. Years of a busy medical career honed my eye for detail and prepared me for the demands of fine instrument making.
I joined the list of graduates from the Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City and have since returned to my home in Sandpoint, Idaho where I continue to practice the fine craft of luthiery. Each of my instruments is hand crafted and unique from the selection of aged tone woods to the thoughtful shaping of the arching and curved bouts. Fine finishes are created in my workshop using time honored traditions. Under your hands you will have the classic combination of artistic form and function.
